Report or remove content

What you can report

• Material that infringes your copyright or other rights.
• Personal information about you or someone else that should not be public.
• A record that is wrong or misleading, with a source that shows it.
• Harassment, illegal content or anything that puts someone at risk.

How to send a request

Write to [email protected] and include:

1. The link to the record (or its ID).
2. What is wrong and what you want us to do.
3. Your connection to it, for example the creator, the person shown, or someone acting for them.
4. For copyright: the work you own, a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised, and a statement that your request is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for them.
5. How we can reach you.

What happens next

A moderator reviews every request. Urgent privacy and safety reports can be hidden first and reviewed after. When a record is withdrawn it disappears from public pages, search and the sitemap, and its images become private. We tell the contributor, who can reply with their side or correct the record.
