Reuse license
A reuse license describes what a rightsholder permits under stated conditions. For research assets, record the exact license name, version, and link rather than a vague label such as free image. Different works on the same website can carry different terms, and a repost may describe them incorrectly. Check the item's source page and read the applicable terms before publishing. Keep evidence of the statement you relied on and the date you inspected it. If you modify the work, record those changes and review the relevant conditions. A license does not establish that every factual claim in the work is true, and it may not resolve separate questions involving identifiable people or other rights. When essential terms are unclear, use a clearly licensed alternative or seek appropriate permission or guidance.
